Gravel Crushing Plant

Gravel is a useful commercial product with multiple applications. Many roadways are paved with gravel, especially in rural areas where there is little traffic. Globally, far more roads are paved with gravel than with concrete or tarmac; Russia alone has over 400,000 km of gravel-surfaced roads.

Both sand and small gravel are also important for the manufacture of concrete. Some gravel materials could be used without processing, but most materials need to be processed for size reduction or classification for final applications.

The processing of sand and gravel for certain market involves the use of different combinations of washers, screens, and classifiers to segregate particle sizes; gravel crushing plants to reduce oversized material; and storage and loading facilities.

Gravel Crushing Plant

Crushing is the first stage in the size reduction process. Crushing is often processed in dry operation, which involves breaking down or reduces the gravel materials by compressing it against rigid surfaces or by impacting it against hard surfaces in a controlled motion flow. The gravel crushing technics include primary crushing, secondary crushing, tertiary or fine crushing.
